Love's WaitingAdoption Fees...
Yes, there is an adoption fee which is a minimum of $100.00 and up depending on the age and health of the pup.
Note to adopters...
Lassie, Cleo, Rin Tin Tin and Toto don't show up in rescue. We don't get the elegantly coiffed, classically beautiful, completely trained, perfectly behaved dog. We get the leftovers. Dogs that other people have incompetently bred, inadequately socialized, ineffectively "trained," and badly treated. Most Rescue dogs have had it. They've been pushed from one lousy situation to another. They've never had proper veterinary care, kind and consistent training, or sufficient company. They've lived outside, in a crate, or in the basement. They're scared, depressed and anxious. Some are angry. Some are sick. Some have given up.
But we are Rescue and we don't give up. We never give up on a dog. We know that a dog is a living being, with a spirit and a heart and feelings. Our dogs are not commodities, things, or garbage. They are part of sacred creation and they deserve as much love and care and respect as the next Westminster champion. So please, please don't come to rescue in the hopes of getting a "bargain," or indeed of "getting" anything. Come to Rescue to give, to love, to save a life -- and to mend your own spirit. For Rescue will reward you in ways you never thought possible. I can promise you this -- a rescue dog will make you a better person.

Dinky Doo...
Dinky was surrendered to us by a loving mom who is ill and could no longer care for this gorgeous bundle of energy. Dinky is an 11 month old boy who already weighs a whopping 10.3 pounds! A definite throw back to the days of the original Yorkshire Terriers! He is full of energy and loves to play and play and play. Dolce...
We would like you to make the acquaintance of Dolce (that's sweet in Italian). Dolce is the little man that EVERYONE WANTS! He is a petite 3.5 pounds which makes him a toy Yorkie (there is really no such thing as a teacup Yorkie, that's just a marketing term). Dolce is approximately 18 months old, is neutered, has all of his shots and is also micro chipped. He is very well behaved and absolutely loves being held and kissed. Moe...
This little man's name is Moe! Moe is a Yorkie/Schnauzer mix. A designer dog that we could call a Schnaushire? Moe is a loveable, active little guy who needs a forever home with his own human(s). He is 3 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. He is neutered and has all of his shots. Moe was surrendered to us from a loving mom who is going through a move where Moe cannot live with her anymore. Patsy...
Patsy is a wonderful and loving 9 year old who was used at a puppy mill in Missouri until she was rescued in May with her two puppies Caleb & Kellen. Patsy's jaw was broken when she was rescued, so her jaw is a little off center and it looks like she is smiling at you when she looks at you. Because of her jaw, Patsy does require a little more help with her food than other dogs but we promise that you will get tons and tons of love in return! Kellen...
Kellen is a precious 4 month old baby boy who came into rescue with his mom and brother, Caleb. Kellen is pure puppy and loves to play and romp around with his brother and foster siblings. Kellen will be neutered, and have all of his shots prior to being adopted. We expect Kellen to be around 8 pounds when he is full grown. Libby...
Libby is a Yorkie/Silky mix that was rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri, so she is very shy at first. But what a little love when she opens up and gets to know you! She is a very sweet, smart little girl with quite a wonderful personality. Libby is spayed and has all of her shots. She is 3 years old and weighs approximately 5-6 pounds.
