Our BlessingsUpdate on Reese: December 19, 2007...
 
Reese continues to recover from his surgery! His foster Mom took him to the vet on Tuesday at which time they removed the staples from his leg. The four pins remain in his leg and are expected to be removed in approximately four weeks. After the pins are out, the orthopedic surgeon will once again x-ray Reese's leg to make sure that everything has healed properly.
Lacey and her Dad spent some quality time with Reese on Saturday. Reese definitely recognized them and was very happy to see them, giving lots of wet kisses and love. Lacey was concerned about picking Reese up as she didn't want to hurt him, but her Daddy talked her through it and the two of them had some special time together. Above are a couple of photos of the happy occasion.
