Welcome To Yorkie Rescue Colorado
FOR THE LOVE OF YORKIES...will you please help?
This week, Yorkie Rescue Colorado received 8 of the Arkansas puppy mill Yorkies from the Denver Dumb Friends League.

The expense of medical care for these lost souls is going to be incredible. Anyone who know this rescue, knows that we provide every Yorkie with the care necessary. We need your help, in order to provide the same care for these puppy mill dogs. Everyone needs to be spayed or neutered. They all suffer from severe dental disease. There's a tiny one who has to have her hip x-rayed and treated, others whose ears will require surgery. A sweet boy whose teeth are so rotten they are gun metal grey...he may also have a broken jaw. We don't know what other medical problems we will find.
For the love of the breed and the sheer joy of knowing that you've helped to save a dog from the misery of a puppy mill...PLEASE, I'm begging you...HELP US, HELP them. Please donate! Please consider adopting one of them. There are no Yorkies in more need of your help.

We need your help to save the helpless and homeless yorkies that we have taken in from a puppy mill. Every one needs to be altered and to have dentals. Without your help, we cannot exist; without our help, they cannot find the homes they deserve! Please, help us, help them. It will be one of the most rewarding options life has ever offered you!
Hug your Yorkie, they have no idea of how lucky they are to have you. These little ones have no one...but are hoping they can count on you!
Because of our effort to help friendless, homeless yorkies, please give us several weeks to process your adoption applications.

Our Mission...
Our mission is to stop animal cruelty in any form, neuter and spay all dogs in rescue, provide vaccinations and other viable medical care needed to provide quality of life, and to find loving homes for all the dogs entrusted to us, whether they are relinquished to us by owners, shelters, breeders, or come in as strays. We are committed to doing all we can to educate those who adopt from us and the public about the Yorkshire Terrier breed.

Who We Are and What We Do...
Yorkie Rescue Colorado is a fledging, breed-specific, re-homing, rescue and adoption agency. We are all unpaid volunteers who love Yorkies because we know that they make the world a better place. All our rescues are treated with the same love and kindness we give our own dogs.

We also believe in a Donor Bill of Rights...
By donating to us, you are giving us your trust. We will never violate that trust and your generosity will never be taken for granted. If donations are requested for a particular animal, those funds will be used to help defray the medical expenses of that animal. Every penny received is spent for the benefit of rescued Yorkies.

If we feel another dog would be a better match; we will tell you. Upon adoption you are given copies of all medical records, feeding instructions and anything else that may be of importance for a successful adoption. We will stay in contact with each family for as long as they want our help or advice.
